Marvel’s Echo’s Poster Summons Fans From The Anime Community

The recently dropped poster for Marvel’s Echo starring Alaqua Cox in the titular role of Maya Lopez/ Echo, and judging from the effort that Marvel is putting into the show, it is sparing no effort into the show, despite the series not being connected with the main storyline, which the franchise is commonly known for.

Alaqua Cox’s Echo Has Been Labeled as The ‘Bloodiest’ MCU Series

Marvel’s Echo revolves around Maya Lopez, a Native American character, who made her debut in the MCU in the Disney+ Series, Hawkeye in 2021. Following the immense popularity of the character, she received her own show, and this is a must-watch not just for MCU fans but also for people who love to binge-watch shows.

The upcoming show also features Charlie Cox as Daredevil in the show, but that’s not the selling point of the show, as it already built a reputation for being extra brutal. A fan shared an image on r/Marvel on Reddit, where Empire magazine has called the show an “ultra-violent revenge drama.

“A lot of heads get cracked onto a lot of surfaces in Echo. It’s been a shaky year for Marvel Studios, but as 2024 kicks off, so too does this ultra-violent revenge drama- on every level. It looks to be the MCU’s freshest- and most certainly bloodiest- bit of work in a long while.”

The chilling review by Empire magazine makes the upcoming show altogether more interesting as it will be different from a typical MCU show, followed by dry humor which the fans have grown bored of.
