Thunderbolts is an upcoming MCU project that will depict General Thaddeus ‘Thunderbolt’ Ross along with his team. With the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s own league of supervillains, the Thunderbolts is a team of anti-avengers and the world is ready for it.
With a concept trailer at hand, a video on YouTube was released which was fan-made. Despite the trailer being fan-made, the video features quite an extensive and intriguing storyline. With Florence Pugh and Sebastian Stan fighting against Steven Yeun, the Thunderbolts are going to take the cake.
The Thunderbolts Will Be Here Soon
Fans were introduced to General Thadeus ‘Thunderbolt’ Ross in 2008 when The Incredible Hulk was released. On the hunt for Bruce Banner, General Ross employs various tactics to catch Bruce Banner but ultimately fails.
With the MCU movie on the cusp of release, fans around the world are excited to see the former MCU villains and anti-heroes teaming up. A fan-made trailer by Screen Culture stitched together various clips of the characters from various MCU movies and series to create an ensemble trailer but it looks pretty impressive.
The trailer starts off with glimpses of Taskmaster, Red Guardian, Bucky, and U.S. Agent. The trailer goes on to add and depict Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Valentina Allegra de Fontaine in her iconic role and she seems to be the big bad baddie. The trailer has a properly planned storyline as all the characters in the trailer are going to be a part of Thunderbolts and Valentina Fontaine will be leading them towards destruction.
Valentina Allegra de Fontaine Is The Villain in Thunderbolts
Well, it’s difficult to consider a character as the villain when you have a team of villains and anti-heroes, but Valentina Allegra de Fontaine seems to be the main villain. As per the trailer, she reportedly takes over the Thunderbolts team for her own nefarious purposes yet unknown.
This can be proven by the fact that during her appearance in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, she consoles the U.S. Agent to not give up being the super soldier and offers to work for her. She was also supposed to make an appearance in the 2021 film Black Widow but that didn’t happen. Instead, Julia Louis-Dreyfus appears for a brief moment in the 2022 film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
The Thunderbolts movie will also feature Harrison Ford as General Thadeus ‘Thunderbolt’ Ross and is expected for a release date of 20 December 2024.
