Timothée Chalamet has been accomplishing achievements one after the other. From Dune to Little Women, he is a man who doesn’t see any role as a challenge but as an opportunity to explore his talent as an actor. He has slowly been developing a reputation as a fine and talented individual who can easily take on any movie presented before him.
Whether the film already has big shoes to fill in or not, it is an opportunity for him that cannot miss. Such was the case with Wonka as well. With many actors having played the role before, he had some expectations of the fans that he most definitely needed to prove and fulfill. Needless to say, Chalament has never been an actor to disappoint.
Timothée Chalamet Becomes a Singer
Timothée Chalamet has so far received some of the most amazing remarks. His performance, while one that many doubted at first, has proven to be a tremendous feat. From the musical numbers to the fantastical dancing, Chalamet has managed to nail all of that in the most flawless manner possible. The amount of praise that the actor has got is absolutely enticing seeing that he has managed to make a character that was already charismatic to an even more bombastic energy level.
“I try. There’s a lot of auto-tune. No, I’m kidding.”
When talking with Extra, the actor revealed that his singing did not come without great help. He jested about the singing being heavily reliant on autotune, stating that he did try his best but it was not without autotune that he managed to achieve that high level of singing. The entire filming experience had been a great opportunity for the actor and he not only managed to learn how to sing but to dance as well.
Timothée Chalamet Has Dance in His Blood
Timothée Chalamet, when speaking with Extra, confirmed that dancing was something that came more from his environment than anything else. He confirmed that it had been his mother, sister, and grandmother who gave him the sort of motivation he needed to get his feet moving.
“I loved it… My mom is a dance teacher and my grandmother was a dancer, my sister is a dancer, so I was always sort of around it but it’s a big difference between being around it and having to do it… It was a great learning experience.”
All three of them happen to be great dancers who encouraged him and since he grew up in such an environment, it was inevitable for him to nail dancing as well. His effort and his mentorship all worked out for the better.
