Timothée Chalamet is one of the most talented young actors in the industry right now, as he has already proven his mettle in films such as Lady Bird, Dune and more. He is also a gamer, which is why it comes as no surprise that he defended Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 after the game was recently snubbed at an awards show.
Timothée Chalamet is also viewed as one of the nicest young stars in Hollywood, who always offers interesting insight into a lot of topics. His friendship with Zendaya is also one of the things fans never fail to obsess over. On top of that, Chalamet also used to be a YouTuber, and made modded game controllers.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Failed To Win Any Awards At The Game Awards
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 was the highly anticipated sequel to the incredible prequel Spider-Man 1, which was released back in 2018. The sequel received better critical reception all across the board, as fans and critics alike praised the game for improving on the prequel in every way.
During The Game Awards, Baldur’s Gate 3 and Alan Wake 2 dominated the competition, leaving little breathing space for the remaining contenders. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 was nominated for seven awards but walked away with nothing. This was very shocking because Sony’s first-party games usually win a lot of awards, such as God of War, The Last of Us, and more.

While speaking to IGN, Timothée Chalamet was asked what his favorite game of 2023 was. Unsurprisingly, Timothée Chalamet answered that it was Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and further stated that he simply found the game amazing, no pun intended. It is to be noted that his love for Spider-Man may or may not have anything to do with his friendship with Zendaya and Tom Holland. Regardless, Sony still produced a game that many loved and that is all that matters.
