The release date of Star Wars Outlaws is right around the corner and a lucky few reviewers manage to get an early copy to form their thoughts. It is interesting to return to a renowned franchise as an original character that is not in any way directly involved with the Galactic Civil War and is a welcome change of pace.
Early testers explored every square inch of the game and did various activities to earn rare improvements for Kay’s little companion. These small interactions may easily fly over the heads of casual gamers but some will appreciate these character moments.
Star Wars Outlaws Will Encourage the Gaming Community to Be a Better Fur Parent
The gaming community is eager to see what the developers of Massive Entertainment have been working on for the past couple of years, and the time draws near for everyone to experience an original tale set in a galaxy far, far away. The game is only a few days away from launch but certain details like the full trophy list of Star Wars Outlaws have been shared earlier than anticipated.
This could give the gaming community enough time to study what achievements are scattered across the map. Meanwhile, reviewers are taking their time to acclimate to the game’s mechanics and familiar lore and noticed something interesting that could give them an edge and the opportunity to treat a pet in-game.

Each planet has unique delicacies that Kay could consume with her friend, Nix. These two have been through the worst of times together as they are the perfect match to give the gaming community a new perspective during the height of the Galactic Civil War under the rule of the Empire and each meal shared could give her little companion new gameplay abilities.
This could benefit players as they wander the galaxy and get into the mix between disputes between a rival gang and the Empire. Ubisoft promised that there would be no dull moments in the game or dead air akin to the random and strange events in Red Dead Redemption 2 to keep the players immersed and engaged at all times.
Nix Is More Than Just a Furry Little Companion for Kay Vess in Star Wars Outlaws
The game allows players to establish and strengthen the bond between Kay and her little companion and to manifest when it counts. It is a bold move for the developers to take the time to properly code how a buddy would react in a firefight in other games.
Character moments like these will be remembered more than the troubling performance issues the reviewers are experiencing. Kay is an ordinary citizen trying to survive in a galaxy torn by war and finds solace in her little friend speaks volumes about her characterization.
Hopefully, the gaming community will take the time to build a relationship with Nix instead of rushing through the campaign. Bonding through meals is essential and the perfect opportunity to show it in-game. Ubisoft may struggle with the technical front but did something great with the characters. This could be the game’s best feature.
