Touching upon several celebrities’ obsession with the drug, the Ted actor noted that he isn’t on board with it. Saying a hard no to Ozempic, the actor rather promoted a healthy lifestyle.

Therefore, throwing light upon the controversial weight loss medication that celebrities are currently using, the actor advocated for healthy living.
Instead of relying on weight loss drugs to carve out his abs, Mark Wahlberg noted that he prefers a good diet and strict workout sessions to achieve his godlike physique. Speaking with Fox News, the actor thus touched upon the controversial weight loss medication Ozempic. Personally, saying a hard no to the drug, Wahlberg noted that he doesn’t “knock anybody” who uses it.
“Listen, to each his own. I just suggest to people, especially I’m trying to encourage young people, prevention is better than cure. So, we want to continue to encourage people to live a healthy lifestyle. Everything in moderation. Should you be able to enjoy foods and desserts? All of those things – enjoy. But eating right, exercise, and finding the right balance [is important]. I don’t knock anybody for doing what they feel is the best thing for them.”
Strictly going against endorsing the controversial drug, Mark Wahlberg noted how he encourages “people to start young” for he believes “prevention is better than cure”. Sticking to his longtime advocacy for fitness and leading a healthy lifestyle, Wahlberg noted that he will never endorse Ozempic or other such controversial weight loss drugs.

Turning the medication into a mainstream source of easy weight loss, celebrities like Elon Musk, Amy Schumer, and others have admitted to taking the controversial drug.
According to reports from Style, business mogul Elon Musk credited his weight loss to “fasting,” but also admitted to using medication as an easy way out. He further noted how the controversial weight-loss drug helped him get “fit, ripped, and healthy”. Not just Musk, but even renowned stars like Amy Schumer opened up about being on Ozempic “for a year”.
While being honest about her weight loss journey, Amy Schumer further criticized celebrities who aren’t honest about using weight-loss drugs. Alongside Schumer, NBA star Charles Barkley, model and TikToker Remi Bader, comedian Rosie O’Donnell, and several other popular faces confessed to using some sort of weight loss medication to achieve their fitness.
