Despite his retirement only a year old at this point, people still remember the times when Tom Brady played on the field for the New England Patriots and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. But despite all of his accolades, for longer than his retirement, he has found himself in a sea of controversies regarding his split from his now ex-wife and supermodel Gisele Bündchen, which has just gotten a new development recently.
Reports have now surfaced of the model being seen with her Jiu-Jitsu trainer Joaquim Valente vacationing on the coasts of Costa Rica with her and Brady’s two children Benjamin and Vivian while looking cozy with each other.
This has got the former quarterback in a tizzy, as per an inside source (via Radar Online), who reveals that the athlete is wondering when and where it all went wrong. They said:
“Tom knows the ship has sailed as far as him getting back with Gisele, but that doesn’t make this any easier to swallow. He can’t help but wonder how long it’s really been going on. Tom was left feeling very suspicious by their sudden romance. Brady’s having trouble getting past it, he feels like a fool.”
While we may not know all the details regarding this recent development, speculations, and rumors have started to run wild, pointing to a possible affair from the time they were together between Bündchen and Valente.
When Did It All Begin?
The eventual split of the couple was starting to hint back in 2020 when Brady revealed that he and his then-wife were finding it hard to keep up due to him being heavily invested in his sport.
Then, things started heating up when he was seen missing several practice sessions and drills with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2022 when the head coach of the team revealed that the star athlete was taking some time off to deal with some personal issues. And with some rumors and speculations for a couple of months, in October of 2022, the couple officially revealed that they had filed for a divorce after 13 years of marriage.
