As the year winds down, the folks at Torrent Freak have dropped their list of the most pirated shows of 2023. The ranking of the 10 most pirated TV series in 2023 is determined by BitTorrent traffic.
The top spot goes to HBO’s live-action adaptation of the video game The Last of Us, starring Pedro Pascal as Joel Miller. The show has been both a critical and commercial hit.
Not far behind is the second season of Marvel’s Loki in 3rd place, with Tom Hiddleston returning in the titular role. This magical adventure has solidified itself as a fan favorite, both for Marvel and its parent company, Disney, even if some viewers chose less conventional ways to enjoy it.
The Other Shows In The List
The list includes several notable shows, with The Mandalorian securing the second spot after The Last of Us. This Disney+ live-action space western, set in the Star Wars universe, captures the audience’s attention. Further down the ranking, at the 4th place, we find one more Star Wars adventure: Ahsoka. Secret Invasion sits at the 5th position.
Apple TV contributes three series to the lineup, with Silo, Monarch: Legacy of Monster, and Ted Lasso claiming the 6th, 7th, and 10th positions, respectively.
Sylvester Stallone’s inaugural series on Paramount+, Tulsa King, holds the 8th position, closely followed by Gen V, the Amazon Prime spin-off of The Boys, which secures the 9th spot in the rankings.
