Tom Holland also starred in Uncharted last year in which he portrayed the lead role of Nathan Drake. The English actor also revealed that the famous airplane scene from the movie was the toughest scene that he had ever filmed.

Tom Holland revealed that the infamous airplane action sequence was the toughest scene that he has ever filmed

Almost everyone is familiar with the airplane action sequence in the Uncharted movie. Even if someone has not seen the movie, the airplane sequence was present in every trailer of the movie where Tom Holland tries to get back onto an airplane while holding onto crate pallets. It is one of the most iconic action sequences in the history of cinema and Holland revealed in an interview that it was the toughest scene that he had filmed ever. He said,

“It’s easily the hardest action sequence I’ve ever done, but I think it’s equally as rewarding. I haven’t seen an action sequence like this in a movie for a very long time.”

Although they weren’t hanging off the side of a plane, it still was a tough scene to shoot as the actor revealed that they shot it vertically in order to “simulate the notion that we were flying through the air.

The Cherry actor accidentally kicked a stuntman in the face

Tom Holland revealed in another interview that he accidentally kicked a stuntman in the face while filming the airplane scene. The actor revealed that the wirework had worked out in one of the takes in such a way that he was closer to the stuntman than usual and he accidentally kicked him in the face. He said,

“I unfortunately kicked a poor stuntman in the face in that sequence. He was okay, he is an ex-UFC fighter, so he’s tough as nails. That doesn’t excuse my lack of judgment”

Uncharted received mixed reviews from fans and critics all around the world. The movie grossed almost $401.7 million worldwide and turned out to be a huge success at the box office.
