Last year’s Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse has been received well by the audience. The film, made as the sequel to the 2018 film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, left fans anticipating the next part. People are impatiently waiting for Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse that will continue with Miles Morales’ story and his fellow Spider-people.
Tom Holland’s Spider-Man from the MCU was absent in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. However, on one occasion, his reference was made, and that somewhat gave a hint that he will be in Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, for a cameo. And the latest photo from the 29th Critics Choice Award from last night makes this speculation more firm.
Will Tom Holland Be There in Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse?
Spider-Man: Beyond The Spider-Verse would end Miles Morales’s story, for which fans were excited to see the conclusion of the perfect story in 2024. However, this movie, as of now, does not have a solid release date, and, certainly, it won’t be released in March 2024 as originally planned.
In August 2023, writers/producers Phil Lord and Christopher Miller spoke to Digital Spy about the potential release date. They said that it would be released “when it is ready.”
“Those conversations are thankfully above our pay grade, but I can tell you we’re already hard at work on it, and we’ll take the time it takes to make it great,” Lord said on being asked about when it’s coming out.
However, the cast is not yet confirmed. it’s sure that Shameik Moore and Hailee Steinfeld will return as Miles Morales and Gwen Stacy, respectively.
Amidst this, fans got to see one exciting photo from yesterday’s Critics Choice Award ceremony held at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California. Tom Holland was seen with the crew of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. And that instantly makes fans go speculate that this time Holland will be in Beyond The Spider-Verse.
As of now, there is no official plot synopsis for Beyond the Spider-Verse, but fans can assume a little from how the Across the Spider-Verse ended.

Donald Glover made his debut in Tom Holland’s Spider-Man: Homecoming. Glover didn’t have a huge role in the film and was a potential buyer of alien technology that’s been reengineered into weapons. Homecoming director and writer Jon Watts petitioned for Glover’s inclusion in the film as a hat tip to the future inclusion of Miles Morales in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
However, Across the Spider-Verse showed Glover in the purple and black super-suit of the Prowler, which insists that there might be a chance for Holland’s Spider-Man to make a cameo in the next installment. For now, it’s just speculation, and you can watch Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse on Netflix.
