But during the attack on Onigashima, he reveals his true identity. He is a member of the Kurozumi clan, and throughout his life, acted to be one of the Akazaya Nine.
He kidnapped Oden’s son Momonosuke, and tortured him. His betrayals are one of the worst in recent times. His specialty was making his drawings alive. He always drew weak and bad drawings, but later it was revealed that he did all that purposely. He secretly passed every information to Orochi and Kaido and was the main reason behind the massacre at Zou.
4. Shou Tucker Makes The Perfect Chimera (Fullmetal Alchemist)
The name Shou Tucker still haunts the Fullmetal Alchemist fans. He appeared for a couple of episodes, but he left an everlasting impression. Shou Tucker is a pale and smiling man with a daughter, Nina Tucker, and a dog, Alexander. He is a State Alchemist researching Chimera that can understand human speech. His wife died a couple of years back.
Tucker was getting more focused on his work as his State Alchemist assessment was nearing. Finally, he managed to create a Chimera that can understand human speech. Edward Elric examined the specimen and figured Shou Tucker had fused Nina and Alexander. Shou Tucker confirmed it and did not even show a bit of regret and was joyful with his experiment.
He also revealed that he did the same thing with his wife. The image of the Chimera calling Edward elder brother is one of the most horrific things ever happening in anime history.
3. Reiner and Bertolt Transforms (Attack on Titan)
After the Armored Titan and Colossal Titan’s rampage, Eren, Armin, and Mikasa joined the Scouts. Over there, they met Reiner, Bertolt, and Annie. They soon became close, but the latter three had a different motive. Even though the protagonists believed them, they revealed themselves to be the Armored and Colossal Titans. It remains the biggest betrayal of the last decade. No one saw it coming. It was because of them that everyone’s life became miserable. Reiner, Bertolt, and Annie were agents from another nation. They caused the commotion to blend among the people.
2. Aizen Sosuke Is An Unrivalled Mastermind (Bleach)
Aizen Sosuke is one of the greatest anime antagonists of all time, if not the greatest. He worked his way up and became a captain. He faked his death and later became the leader of Hueco Mundo. Being a Soul Reaper, Aizen became the leader of the strongest faction of Hueco Mundo, the Arrancar. Aizen Sosuke tricked his seniors into becoming a Hollow and Soul Reaper hybrid.
As a result, they were thrown out of the Soul Society. He did the same experiment with Ichigo Kurosaki. Aizen holds one of the strongest Zanpaktu, Kyoka Suigetsu, with the ability of hypnosis. He did everything to become the strongest being and put an end to Soul Society. Even Genryusai Yamamoto failed to look through his motive.
1. Griffith Becomes Femto (Berserk)
Without a doubt, Griffith lands the top spot. Guts and the Band of the Hawks saved Griffith from imprisonment. He was a pale man with his body covered in bandages. But after saving his life, he paid them by betraying them. He summoned God Hand using Behelit’s powers and caused the eclipse. Soon, the demons started to attack the Band of the Hawks. Griffith sacrificed his comrades to turn into Femto, the fifth member of the God Hand.
He then r*ped Casca in front of Guts, who could do nothing but watch. His betrayal was not out of evil motives, rather it was because of keeping his dreams alive, and he could not forget his torturous past. Griffith betraying his friends and r*ping his friend’s girlfriend is still one of the most haunted scenes in all anime history.
