Jurassic is one of my favorite movies. It’s one of the things I’ve wanted to do my whole life. I’m not doing that movie because I read the script and I immediately was like, my presence in this movie doesn’t help it. He added, The script’s great. The movie’s going to f*cking kill. It’s not about that. It’s about choosing where you’re going to make an audience happy and where you’re going to make yourself happy.

He admitted that while Powell came across the script and was even offered a role, he chose not to take it up. He stated that the film had a lot going for it, and his presence, although one he’d appreciate, would also be unnecessary. It was always a dream of his to star in the franchise, but that doesn’t mean compromising the essence of what the movie brought to the audience.

He immediately rejected any thought of joining the film, although the role in particular wasn’t mentioned. Despite claiming that the script had a lot of hope in it, he chose to let it go. In a way, Powell’s response was about the film actually being great, but not for him.

There is a harsh reality of the fact that Jurassic World movies haven’t been doing so well. None of the latest films have gotten great public acclaim and thus to find sense in what is otherwise nonsensical would mean to either nail the script or admit defeat. Glen Powell claimed that the script of the upcoming film had a lot of good aspects in it, but fans don’t seem to think so.

Although Steven Spielberg would also be returning to the franchise as an executive producer, Powell still chose to reject the film. This has gotten the fans to think that while he is praising what came before him, the reality might be the exact opposite of it.

They are convinced that the script may not be looking so good and that is why the actor let go of it. The hopes and anticipation of fans also seems to be shaking because of it.
