However, since season two is expected to release sometime in late 2023, it is uncertain if the mobile game will arrive first.

The trailer does not include any dialogue, so it appears unlikely Steven Yeun, J.K. Simmons, Sandra Oh, Gillian Jacobs, or any of the other voice talent from the TV series will be a part of the game.

A full description, which was provided on Ubisoft’s website, says the following about the game:

“Invincible: Guarding the Globe is a new free-to-play, idle RPG coming soon to iOS and Android devices. Set in the same Invincible universe as the Skybound comic books and subsequent Prime Video series, Invincible: Guarding the Globe lets you collect characters, manage your attack squad, and engage in superpowered, multi-battle action – all while experiencing an original storyline.”

The Global Defense Agency needs your help in its fight against the attacking villainous clone army. You’ll need to recruit familiar characters like Invincible, Atom Eve, and Omni-Man, as well as villains like the Flaxans, Titan, or the Mauler Twins. You can level up your fighters by gaining experience, and you’ll need every bit of strength you can muster as you unravel the mystery behind the army’s unexpected allies: clones of the Heroes from Invincible.

‘It’s been so exciting watching the Invincible universe evolve from comic book to TV series, and now to a videogame,” said Robert Kirkman, chairman and chief creative officer at Skybound. “Invincible being a multi-hero narrative, I love that we’ve made the game into a multiplayer RPG and that you can fight numerous battles simultaneously. Ubisoft did an incredible job seamlessly recreating Invincible for the small screen.’

Each character you recruit has a different skill set geared towards being an Attacker, Defender, or Support fighter during battle, and it’ll be up to you to choose the best combination that fits your playstyle and the challenge ahead. You can pick five heroes for each battle, and boost their powers and stats by equipping each character with up to four items. Play solo or take part in social battles and help other players stand against waves of enemies. Victory will earn you experience, and the game will set new daily and weekly objectives to earn new rewards. Each season, the game will also introduce a new hero from the Invincible universe that you can recruit to your squad.

Skybound Entertainment builds global franchises like Invincible, The Walking Dead, Insiders, and Impact Winter, across comic books, video games, TV, film, and podcasts. Invincible has been part of Skybound Entertainment since 2010, where the company helped the series grow from popular comic book to hit Amazon Prime TV show, and now to superpowered RPG. For more updates on Invincible and Skybound Entertainment, be sure to follow them on Threads, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Reddit, and Discord.”

It looks like Robert Kirkman, the creator behind Invincible, is excited for the game to release, and Ubisoft has be entrusted to further develop the Skybound franchise. If the mobile game really does push narrative and brings the full tone of Invisible to its mobile RPG, then the developer may be putting out a major hit for mobile gamers.

If you are planning to play this new mobile game make sure to pre-register to get rewards including: Burger Mart Burger, 35,000 Hero XP, 2 Hero Dossiers, and 50,000 GDA Chips
