American pop singer Taylor Swift and NFL star Travis Kelce won’t be together at the 2024 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles this Sunday due to scheduling conflicts. The Kansas City Chiefs will be heading to Las Vegas at the same time to gear up for next Sunday’s Super Bowl fight against the San Francisco 49ers.
Because of his much-anticipated game, Kelce won’t be able to join his girlfriend at the said event. It is also unknown if Swift will go solo flight at the Grammys or will just tag a friend with her.
Travis Kelce Won’t Attend The Grammys With Taylor Swift
TMZ first reported that Travis Kelce will not be there at the Grammys to support Taylor Swift. It’s a shame because the singer-songwriter is up for six Grammy categories: song of the year, record of the year, album of the year, best pop vocal album, best pop solo performance, and best pop duo/group performance.
However, Swift will try to make it to her boyfriend’s big game. A source told Page Six:
“Taylor Swift, who is currently in the midst of the international leg of her Eras Tour, will make it back stateside just in time to support boyfriend Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl.”
The Anti-Hero singer has four shows in Japan, the last one will be held at the Tokyo Dome on February 10, a day before the game at Allegiant Stadium. The insider also noted, “It’s a brutal flight, but she’ll get on her plane right after the concert.”
Despite her hectic schedule, Swift tries to make time to support Kelce in his game, and it’s definitely a bummer that he cannot come with her at the Grammys.
The pair went public with their romance in September 2023 after the football star expressed interest in Swift on his podcast called New Heights. Ever since the rumors of their dating spread online, Kelce has been seeing a lot of British paparazzi outside his home.
Meanwhile, he commended the singer for courageously showing up at his NFL game despite knowing the crowd and a lot of reporters would take their photos. Swift did not seem to mind at all after they shared a kiss on screen. Kelce also admitted he loved seeing her hang out with his family and friends.

Entertainment Tonight confirms that Taylor Swift won’t be headlining the show with a performance as she needs a “quick turnaround before resuming her record-breaking Eras Tour on the other side of the world.” She also said about her album getting nominated:
“The way you have supported my album, Midnights, it just got nominated for six Grammys. You’re the best.”
Swift is one of the most successful artists in Hollywood. Her songs continue to top the charts, and her albums sold millions of copies around the globe. On top of that, she is currently on her international leg for the Eras Tour.
