I get a knock on my trailer door and I say, ‘Yeah, who is it?’ At the end of the day, while putting my clothes on, he said, ‘It’s Harrison.’ I said, ‘Harrison who?’ He said, ‘Ford.’

He was surprised by what happened at the time as he continued,

I open the trailer, and he’s like, ‘Hey man, you want to ride home in my helicopter? Come on.’ And I said, ‘Oh my god, wow, I would love to ride home in your helicopter, Harrison, but I drove here today, so I think I need to drive my car back.’ And he said, ‘They’ll take care of your car.’

He eventually got into his helicopter with several others and flew back home. They even had dinner together, where the Blade Runner 2049 actor opened up to Goggins, making him feel good.

Working on the 2011 movie was a new experience for Harrison Ford, despite his familiarity with the sci-fi genre. An old interview via Contact Music revealed that the actor was initially unconvinced about the project. However, after meeting with director Jon Favreau to discuss it, the Star Wars actor eventually agreed to join.

I thought this was clearly something I haven’t done before and one of the things to do at this stage is something if you haven’t done before. As much as I have been part of sci-fi movies, I always approach them as fairytales. I didn’t really think of the sci-fi.

However, the movie could neither win audiences’ hearts with the concept nor perform well at the box office.

However, that was far from what the actor was concerned with as he revealed to THR,

But the first job of a movie is to get its money back. God knows why something doesn’t work. It doesn’t usually make that much difference — I just go on and do something else. I wasn’t counting the hits and misses.

Released internationally, it underperformed at the box office, earning over $174 million on a $163 million budget via the Numbers. The other cast includes Daniel Craig, Olivia Wilde, Sam Rockwell, Adam Beach, Paul Dano, and Noah Ringer.
