Games Workshop’s miniature wargame Warhammer 40,000 has managed to become one of the most popular franchises in the world, particularly in the United Kingdom. It is well-known for its unique characters and science fantasy that is set in the distant future. The franchise features a character known as Jaghatai Khan, a highly skilled Primarch of the White Scars Space Marine Legion.

Since Amazon MGM Studios has now acquired the TV and film rights to the miniature wargame, fans have been wondering who will play this exceptional character in the upcoming series. Although actor Henry Cavill is closely associated with the franchise, it would be best for him to avoid playing this character as it would count as whitewashing.

Games Workshop’s miniature wargame Warhammer 40,000 has become so popular that its lore has been adapted into novels, audio dramas, movies, animation, and video games. The franchise has many unique creatures but there is one that has been a fan-favorite for a long time: Jaghatai Khan.
This character is a Primarch of the V Legion of Space Marines, the White Scars, and is considered to be one of the deadliest Primarchs of the franchise. As per Sandman of Terra on Instagram, this character is incredibly fast, and in the state of Alakh Geh, just his thought can kill people.

In December 2022, The Hollywood Reporter revealed that Amazon MGM Studios acquired the TV and film rights to Warhammer 40,000. A series featuring Henry Cavill based on the franchise is currently in the works. Cavill also revealed that he has been a huge fan of the franchise,
I have loved Warhammer since I was a boy, making this moment truly special for me. The opportunity to shepherd this cinematic universe from its inception is quite the honour and the responsibility – I couldn’t be more grateful for all the hard work put in by Vertigo, Amazon Studios and Games Workshop to make this happen. One step closer to making a nigh on lifelong dream come true.
As of now, it is unclear which character Cavill will play in the series, but it’s safe to say that he won’t be appearing as Jaghatai Khan since it would make more sense to hire an actor that fits the character’s description. There are many characters in the franchise that Cavill can choose from but fans will have to wait for a long time to find that out.
