Since Amazon MGM Studios has now acquired the TV and film rights to the miniature wargame, fans have been wondering who will play this exceptional character in the upcoming series. Although actor Henry Cavill is closely associated with the franchise, it would be best for him to avoid playing this character as it would count as whitewashing.

In December 2022, The Hollywood Reporter revealed that Amazon MGM Studios acquired the TV and film rights to Warhammer 40,000. A series featuring Henry Cavill based on the franchise is currently in the works. Cavill also revealed that he has been a huge fan of the franchise,

I have loved Warhammer since I was a boy, making this moment truly special for me. The opportunity to shepherd this cinematic universe from its inception is quite the honour and the responsibility – I couldn’t be more grateful for all the hard work put in by Vertigo, Amazon Studios and Games Workshop to make this happen. One step closer to making a nigh on lifelong dream come true.

As of now, it is unclear which character Cavill will play in the series, but it’s safe to say that he won’t be appearing as Jaghatai Khan since it would make more sense to hire an actor that fits the character’s description. There are many characters in the franchise that Cavill can choose from but fans will have to wait for a long time to find that out.
