The recent trend of adapting video games into TV series, especially animated series, has become quite popular. And one of the main reasons for this was Arcane, a Netflix animated series based on the popular game League of Legends by Riot Games. Arcane is one of the most successful animated series Netflix has ever produced.
The series follows the story of sisters Vi and Jinx, who are trying to survive in the fantasy cities of Piltover, filled with the rich and fulfilled, and Zaun, whose residents are the oppressed and the poor, who survive on scraps. The impending war between the two cities for technology and other important elements is the central focus of the series.
The first season premiered in 2021, and fans have been waiting for the second season ever since. A few months ago, Netflix dropped a “first look” of the series, and now they have yet again surprised the fans by releasing its first poster, which is a heartbreaking callback to season 1.
First Poster of Arcane Season 2 Dropped
Season 1 of Netflix’s Arcane ended on a cliffhanger, and fans have since waited for the second season to find out the fate of the Council, Vi, and Jinx. The streaming platform shared a first-look teaser of the second season four months ago that hyped the fans by announcing a November release window for the series.
And now, Netflix has dropped the first poster for Arcane season 2, and it is all the fans can hope for. The poster features Jinx holding Vi as Vi looks scared and confused.

The poster is the inverse of the season 1 poster, where a gravely injured Vi is holding a young Jinx. This was truly a heartbreaking callback by the creators, and fans are all up for it.
The first season of Arcane was quite appreciated by the fans, as the series was not only critically acclaimed but also won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Animated Program and an Annie Award for Best General Audience Animated Television Broadcast Production. It was deemed one of the best video game adaptations ever made in history.
Fans Are Ready to Suffer Again
The Netflix poster for Arcane season 2 was an interesting touch by the streaming platform, as it has once again ignited excitement among fans who have been waiting for the series for three years. Their anticipation for November has increased tenfold, as they feel eager to find out what’s in store for them in the second season.
As soon as Netflix shared the poster on X(Formerly Twitter), fans gathered together to appreciate the series and discuss its impact on the world of video game adaptations.
Some fans even pointed out the emotional element of the story and stated that they were ready to suffer once again.
