Kirsten Dunst Still Receives Tom Cruise’s Christmas Cake

Kirsten Dunst started working at a very young age. The actress shared that she started acting by starring in commercials and made her big screen breakout with the 1994 film Interview With the Vampire, in which she starred alongside Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt.

During her appearance on The Graham Norton Show, she shared that she was only ten years old when she was cast in the 1994 film. Talking about her co-stars, she said that The Mummy actor has kept in touch with her since they worked in the movie, and she still receives a Christmas cake from him every year.

He gives me this cake every Christmas. We call it the Cruise Cake,” she said. The Bring It On actress further said that it’s the best coconut cake she has ever had in her life. She shared that every Christmas everyone in her family is excited about the cake.

“We get it every Christmas,” she said before adding, “All our family’s like Cruise cake is here.” Dunst also shared that it’s a “major thing” during the festival seasons for her family. Multiple other actors have also shared similar stories, as they received the “Cruise cake” from the action star.

Kirsten Dunst portrayed a little girl, Claudia, who was turned into a vampire by Tom Cruise’s character Lestat in Interview with the Vampire. She has been working on films for a while and got her big break with the 1994 film. While she loved working with Hollywood stars in the movie, there were still things that bothered her.

One such thing was kissing her co-star Brad Pitt. During an interview with Vanity Fair, the Jumanji actress shared that she was very uncomfortable kissing Pitt, as she was “a little girl and he was like a brother to [her].” Dunst shared that although it was just a peck, she still found it “weird.”

The actress shared that it caused trauma for her as she “didn’t kiss anyone else until [she] was 16.” While others told her that she was lucky to kiss the Bullet Train star, she only felt disgusted by it.
