While they may have been friends in the 2010s, Elon Musk and Kanye West do not look eye to eye anymore since Musk banned West from X in 2022. West’s antisemitic remarks were getting out of control, and Musk had to intervene. The two went back and forth dissing each other, indicating that their friendship was over by that point (via The Independent).

A talented fan put together a brilliant interview featuring the two by combining the duo’s separate interviews with Charlie Ross from 2005 and 2009 (via Inquisitr). The result is a shockingly accurate talk session where the two celebs talk about life in general and discuss how they mix humor when they brainstorm real-life issues and their causes (via YouTube).

With neat precision and a well-choreographed flow of the dialogues, the duo starts talking about their love of rocketry and spaceships (Musk is the founder and CEO of Space X). Ye is seen hilariously interrupting Musk frequently and telling him to change the world with his innovations. West even comes up with a verse on the spot telling Musk to continue working hard and not care about people’s judgments. West raps,

Drug dealing just to get by. Stack your money till you get sky-high. We wasn’t supposed to make it past 25, jokes on you we still alive. throw your hands up in the sky and say ‘We don’t care what people say.’

The video ends up with an awkward silence between the two, with Musk seemingly taken aback by West’s verse. The interview that ‘never happened’ felt very real and accurate while also capturing the real-life behavior and manner of speaking of the two individuals.

Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign formed their hip hop group in 2023 titled ¥$ and have released the group’s first album, Vultures 1, this year. In an interview promoting the album, the pair talked about the development of the album and their collaboration. During the interview, Ye made some wild comments about birthing the careers of several popular artists.

Ye stated that he has developed every music genre in the last 20 years and has done the same genres done by The Weeknd, Drake, Future, and Young Thug and elevated it much better than them. He said (via Billboard),

I done invented every style of music of the past 20 years, I created this genre. I created Weeknd’s genre, Trav, Drake…I’m gonna go ‘head and say it, with all love, Future and Thug also, because of the autotune album if you think about it.

Despite mixed reviews, Vultures 1 was a hit and will spawn two sequels. All of the songs in the album managed to enter the Billboard 100, which is very impressive. Vultures 2 and 3 are planned to be released subsequently later this year. The group is also planning a world tour promoting the album.
