The shocking demise of John Krasinski’s Reed Richards in Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness still haunts Marvel fans. Reed Richards or Mister Fantastic is the founding member and leader of the Marvel superhero team Fantastic Four. Among all the Marvel comics that received multiple movie adaptations over the years, the most unsuccessful would perhaps be the Fantastic Four.
The superhero team had three movie outings with two different casts, in addition to Krasinski playing the role of Mister Fantastic in Doctor Strange 2. Though fans haven’t fully welcomed the idea of another reboot of the movie with a completely new cast, discussions have surfaced online regarding the casting of the four superheroes in the new F4.

Once again, John Krasinski‘s name was associated with the Marvel project in a Twitter discussion. The latest update from the Marvel movie reveals that Adam Driver, who was approached for playing Reed Richards, has rejected the role.

Some fans even wanted the return of Ioan Gruffudd as the character. Another prominent choice that somehow took off was Penn Badgley, known for his role in Netflix’s You.
Will John Krasinski Return As A Variant Of His Dead Character
Fans were shocked to see the fate of the fan-favorite character in the Multiverse of Madness. Despite introducing such a turn of events, the movie overall failed to impress the audience, and even the cameos in the film were forgettable. However, fans firmly believe that with better characterization, the Jack Ryan actor could deliver a great performance as Reed Richards.
The speculations surrounding the film have been circulating on the Internet for days, with various names rumored to be associated with the project. The film is reportedly directed by Matt Shakman.
