Monogatari’s latest trailer is finally out

Ever since the Off season and Monster season were announced, there has been this brewing sense of anticipation, one that is evidently rising. Now that the trailer is finally out, this has grown manifolds. Not only that, but the animation is on par with some of the biggest competitors in the anime industry. So much so that fans have begun speculating that a formidable opponent to studios such as MAPPA and Ufotable could find their next big challenge.

Monogatari’s New Trailer Turns Heads

Monogatari is back with not one but two different seasons years after fans had apparently seen the end of the series. Now following the course of the anime right after the events that took place in Owarimonogatari, starting right where they left off. As per Anime TV, YOASOBI, best known for IDOL in Oshi no Ko, will be returning with Undead.

The latest trailer has easily been one of the most awaited for fans and so far it has done anything but disappoint. Unlike Off season, which follows the events of the final season, Monster’s plot is still yet to be revealed, keeping the fans in the dark indefinitely.

The animation has so far given the fans a certain sense of hope. It has always been a mesmerizing piece of work, with Studio Shaft doing its best to give them exactly what they want and more. This has opened a new territory for them, one that makes fans compare the studios to none other than MAPPA and Ufotable.

Fans Find Studio Shaft’s Animation Worth a While

When the two new seasons were announced, there was nothing but positivity and anticipation. Seeing the official trailer has driven that source even more. The animator is greatly admirable, so much so that fans are constantly striving towards a comparison between both Jujutsu Kaisen and Demon Slayer’s animation studios.

MAPPA and Ufotable are both widely known for their spectacular animations, creating a fanbase dedicated to their work whether or not they were anime fans at first. They have been acknowledging how the studios haven’t lost their touch even after years.

If the upcoming seasons keep up with the same pace in animation, it is more than likely for the anime to find itself amongst the top.

Monogatari Off season and the Monster season will be available to watch exclusively on ABEMA from 6th July.
