The battle between Deku and Shigaraki in My Hero Academia has shifted tremendously with All for One appearing as a vestige in Shigaraki’s mental realm and essentially taking over the body of the antagonist. This changed the whole storyline as All for One was supposed to be dead and Deku was supposed to change the mind of Shigaraki and bring him to the good side.
All for One appearing in Shigaraki’s mind although may bring a lot of trouble for the heroes, does make the story interesting. The last chapter showed that All for One might have controlled Shigaraki’s life from the start and even gave him the quirk that helped him destroy everything he hated. However, the spoilers of Chapter 419 have confirmed all of it.
The chapter that is scheduled to be released on April 7, 2024, saw its spoilers hit the internet and they have shaken the entire anime and manga community. They not only explain how All for One was able to mold Shigaraki into a perfect vessel but also show Deku losing both of his arms in the present. All these events have proven why My Hero Academia is on the top 10 list.
Warning: Spoilers Ahead
My Hero Academia Chapter 419 Shows Deku Losing Both His Arms
As My Hero Academia fans were hoping to see Shigaraki and Deku team up and fight against All for One to defeat him and bring a perfect ending to the story, Kohei Horikoshi, the creator of the series has shocked everyone by bringing a major twist. The chapter confirmed the theory about All for One controlling Shigaraki’s life before he was even born.
The chapter revealed how All for One failed to capture One for All twice, which led him to forge a plan where he could use Shigaraki Tomura and finally gain control over One for All. The chapter even revealed that All for One extracted Shigaraki’s original quirk and gave him the power of Decay which was being experimented by Dr. Kyudai Garaki.
The focus then shifts to Deku, who lost both his arms when he was stopping Shigaraki from killing his sister. However, the effect of the quirk could also be seen in the real world as Deku is seen with no arms in the panel. It is then revealed that All for One has taken full control of Shigaraki’s body and as he is about to attack Deku, a few of his classmates and his teacher Shota Aizawa appear to save him.
