The credit for the absurd and never before seen success of the original trilogy doesn’t just go to the outstanding and otherworldly concept and design, but also to the set of diverse characters that the franchise introduced, making it one of the most unique pieces of cinema in history. And not to mention, the universe that was created with the franchise is still being explored to this day, which is why the fans are now demanding that the studio focus more on the Dark Side of this universe.
Fans Demand To See The Story Of The Dark Side Be Brought To Life
While the franchise had the heart for adventure and exploration of the vast universe that emerged with the release of the first film at its core, Star Wars was also a story of the war between good and evil fought for generations to take control over the galaxy. And with the release of The Rise Of Skywalker, the story of the main protagonist Luke Skywalker came to an end, resting the chapter of the Skywalker Saga. But now, as Disney and Lucasfilm prepare themselves to come out with a new announcement for the franchise, fans urge them to bring something that has long been overdue.

With the Star Wars Celebration event just around the corner, the entertainment giant along with the parent studio of the Star Wars universe, Lucasfilm is reportedly set to announce future plans of the production house for theatrical releases of new Star Wars films that will be rolled out after three years of the announcement.

While fans have been getting a steady dose of content from the Galaxy Far Far Away on Disney+, they are also hungry for a theatrical feature. And with this announcement, fans are asking the studios to turn to the Dark Side and bring the untold story of Emperor Palpatine, arguably one of the best Siths in the universe to life.

The trailer of the third season of The Mandalorian is now out, where we can see Mando and Baby Yoda traversing the Outer Rim in order to reach his home planet of Mandalore. Along with this, we also have the second season of Andor in its production phase, which will further explore the darker aspects of the Star Wars universe.
