The game sees players play as members of Task Force X as they take on the Justice League.

How to Upgrade Weapons in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League provides players with ample customization options and weapon and gear upgrades, but they are not available just at the beginning of the game. For players to be able to upgrade weapons and gear, they need to get to a certain part of the game’s story.
Players need to get through the main story and reach the Earth-2 part, which cannot be skipped as it is part of the main mission. When players are in Metropolis of Earth-2, they will meet Lex Luthor and complete two Support Squad missions that will unlock the ability of the squad to use Luthor’s nano-enhancements, which are what players need to upgrade weapons and gear.
It is important to know that only Legendary and Epic varieties of weapons colored yellow and purple can be upgraded. Players need to go to the Loadout menu, hover over their weapon, and press Triangle to customize it. There will be three tab options: nano-enhancement, overhaul, and doll, and players need to avoid overhaul and doll as they are for cosmetics such as dolls, trinkets, and pins.
When players select the nano-enhancement tab, they will be presented with several options to upgrade their weapons. Players can upgrade their weapons’ Accuracy, Stability, Zoom, Reload Speed, and Mag Size, and these can be upgraded to a level of three maximum. Players looking to give a fresh look to their weapons can also select cosmetics as per their wishes.
There are a limited amount of nano-enhancements for some weapons and gear that can be seen by weapon stats and can also be upgraded, but some have all the above-mentioned. Moreover, players will need to earn nano-enhancements to upgrade their weapons, which can be done by using the respective weapons. The nano-enhancements earned are according to the overall damage output of a certain weapon, and usually, one nano-enhancement is earned in three missions.
How to Upgrade Weapon and Gear Stats in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League
Several Arkhamverse characters have returned in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League and are called Support Squad. One of the Support Squad members in the game is Penguin, and after players find him, he acts as a gun vendor or weapon manufacturer in the Hall of Justice, allowing players to get new guns or fix their weapon and gear stats.
Players can go to Penguin, and they will be presented with two options: Craft and Overhaul. The Craft options allow players to craft new items from item recipes that they have unlocked, and Overhaul lets them upgrade weapon and gear stats. These will be random, but players can get several enhancement items that work better with their weapons and gear.
It can improve players’ shields and weapons, provide better damage resistance, and, more importantly, make significant improvements to a weapon’s performance, and players will be at the level of the Justice League, hopefully.
