It takes a long time to write each season and a long time to shoot them. We’re making basically 8 movies.

The upcoming season of Stranger Things will feature eight episodes, with the first episode titled The Crawl. Therefore, combining Maya Hawke‘s comments with the update about 8 episodes, it seems the actress is supposedly hinting at the possibility of each episode having a runtime of over one hour, much like a movie.

The only thing we don’t delve into in [Season 4] volume 2 is Upside Down lore. We hint at it. I’m sure someone on Reddit will be able to maybe piece it together, but a lot of those answers for the Upside Down, or that is really what the basis of Season 5 is about. Ross Duffer stated.

Despite facing significant delays due to Hollywood strikes, Netflix’s Stranger Things is expected to return with a bang and offer a satisfactory closure to the beloved show. After the show left an indelible mark on its audiences, fans are now ready to venture into the awaiting new threats and challenges with Eleven, Mike, Dustin, and the rest of the gang.
