“It’s about the shelf-life of the game. We’re not a live service game, but we want to make sure that our product can stay timeless and relevant for what it is, so people can just go in there and have a good time.”

There is no doubt that Gunfire Games has a strong plan to keep Remnant 2 relevant for a long time. Just 4 months after its initial release in July 2023, the game got a new DLC called The Awakened King, adding new story elements, creatures, and environments. Since then, the game has undergone various tweaks as Gunfire Games added some minor updates.

The trailer for Remnant 2‘s latest DLC titled The Forgotten Kingdom was dropped on YouTube recently and it has given fans enough reasons to return to the game. Like the previous DLC, the game adds several new things but the addition of a new Archetype called The Invoker. The Forgotten Kingdom DLC can be purchased individually for $9.99 and the DLC bundle for Remnant 2 is also available for $24.99.

When the first DLC was dropped, it was revealed that the game would get 3 DLCs and so far, fans have got 2. The next DLC is expected to drop later this year, probably after the release of Elden Ring’s DLC, Shadow of the Erdtree.
