The Mysterio actor made an appearance on the Hot One‘s Season 20 finale. As he tried the spicy wings of death sauce, he saw Wet Ones and toothpicks on the side of the table. He asked,

The host Sean Evans revealed that it was Scarlet Witch actor Elizabeth Olsen, who used toothpicks as well as Wet Ones. Gyllenhaal laughed and redacted his comment, as she is a fellow MCU actress.

Jake Gyllenhall immediately apologized for the comment,

“Oh, sorry, Elizabeth. She’s like, literally the least a*shole I’ve ever met, so I’m sorry.”

Referring to the hottest sauce in the spread, the Last Dab of Apollo, he said,

The actor had to try different types of spicy sauces while answering questions in the interview.

Marvel star Jake Gyllenhaal’s upcoming projects

Marvel star Jake Gyllenhaal has developed quite a taste for the comic book world after his first movie Spider-man: Far From Home. The actor will be soon donning the role of a superhero again for the upcomic book adaptation of Prophet. The project is created by Deadpool fame Rob Liefeld, where Gyllenhaal will play the lead role of John Prophet. He is conscripted by the Germans at the war-ending period of World War II and boosted with superhuman strength with the help of scientists. Sam Hargrave will be the director of the film and the script is by Arrow fame Marc Guggenheim.

It was also announced that he’s working with The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman for the adaptation of Oblivion Song. It will feature him as the hero Nathan Cole in an apocalyptic Philadelphia.
