People who are familiar with the storyline of Fallout would already know how Deathclaws are fatal creatures that were designed by the United States Military in an attempt to replace humans for combat missions. Subsequently, following the Great War, they were able to escape from the grasp of the military, becoming apex predators in the world of Fallout in the coming decades.

These creatures also have one of the most iconic presence in the video game franchise, which has made many fans question if they will be making an appearance in the next season of the Fallout show, and as discussed before, the answer is yes.

Fans Will Finally Get To See Deathclaws In The Next Fallout Season

In an interview via TheWrap, Graham Wagner stated how there are many things that the first season of the show has unfortunately missed out on including. The co-showrunner even talked about the presence of Deathclaws, which was teased during the finale by showing a skeleton with horns and fanged teeth. Mentioning how they planned to introduce the iconic creature in the show, Wagner said-

“We wanted to get Deathclaws, but we didn’t want to just throw it away. It’s such a monumental piece, We want to save some something for Season 2 to be able to do it properly, not just added on to the massive world building we had to do already in Season 1. So Season 2, we’re very excited to finally tackle one of the most iconic elements of the games.”

The showrunner revealed how the addition of Deathclaws in the game had been planned ever since the beginning, and how the team was waiting for the perfect opportunity to finally introduce the creature. He also talked about how the team invested their efforts into just world-building in the first season of the show, and how they wanted to save the addition of Deathclaws till the second season, so they could pull it off perfectly.
