Mark Wahlberg is not just world famous for his incredible acting skills and performances on-screen but is widely appreciated for his tremendous contribution to the entertainment industry as well. Apart from this, if there is one other thing that he is renowned for, it’s his better-than-the-Greek-Gods’ physique, which he has earned after following a vigorous training routine and is certainly not for the faint-hearted.

However, as we all know, where there is no pain, there is no gain. And as a series of unfortunate events would have it, Wahlberg was no exception to this. This comes following his Instagram post which showed his numerous muscle tear injuries acquired throughout his journey.

If you follow Mark Wahlberg on Instagram, you will know that it is mostly filled with videos of him training and working out, resulting in his ripped-up body. But this one post showed something else – although it is related to his intensive exercising regime.

In the post, the Pain & Gain star can be seen ranting on about the startling number of muscle tear injuries he has along with herniated discs. The 51-year-old actor said,

“Alright I got an MRI yesterday I got a tear [points at his elbow]. Alright, that’s good. I got a tear here [points to his left shoulder], I got a tear here [points to his right shoulder], I got a tear in the meniscus [points at his knee]. I got some herniated discs and sh-t. Doc, give them a diagnosis on the shoulder. [Doc: Small tear in the extensive tendon.]”

But the Uncharted star isn’t one to let even his numerous muscle tear injuries get in his way of working out like a champion.

“What do we do? Work through it! Work through it, man. Mind over matter.”

Furthermore, over two weeks after he showed off his wounds, he once again posted another video of him flexing his biceps on Instagram, calling it ‘All time sh-t’.

From this, one thing is evidently clear – that when it comes to Mark Wahlberg, not even muscle tear injuries more than a rift in the time-space continuum can stop the Shooter star from working out because his $400 million Fitness Empire ‘won’t build itself’.
