In 2016, Henry Cavill raised eyebrows with his romance with 19-year-old Tara King when he was 33, and he didn’t shy away from defending his relationship.

With his appearance in Man of Steel in 2013, Henry Cavill quickly shot to stardom. The combination of charismatic look and well-rounded personality made the square-jawed Brit one of the most loved actors on the planet, so much so that, to this day, millions of DC fans still criticize James Gunn for dropping the actor from his Superman project.
However, in February of 2016, Cavill turned a lot of eyes the wrong way after attending the Vanity Fair Oscars with Tara King, a 19-year-old Bristol University student. The 13-year-age difference pushed plenty of backlash in The Witcher star’s direction, but Cavill, at the time, was convinced she was the right partner for him.
Speaking to ELLE, he said: “People say, ‘Age is just a number.’ A lot of times it’s not just a number. It’s actually a real and true sign of someone’s maturity. But in this case, she’s fantastic.”
“It’s a natural reaction. But when I was 19, I was going out with a 32-year-old,” Cavill added.

Less than two months after his interview where he seemed over the moon with his love life, Cavill parted ways with King.
A report in Us Weekly at the time suggested the University student was too deep in the relationship, while the actor didn’t want anything too serious. Accordingly, without any fight, they separated and decided to remain good friends. The exes were even photographed taking part in the Durrell Challenge charity run in Jersey, Channel Islands in May 2016.
Currently, Cavill is believed to be dating TV executive Natalie Viscuso. The pair, who began dating in 2021, have largely kept their relationship out of the spotlight, but have occasionally posted about each other on their socials, giving fans something to savor.
