Portraying the role of Paris in Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One, Klementieff had the pleasure of working with Tom Cruise. In an interview with Cosmopolitan, the actress compared her two beloved characters: Mantis and Paris. Observing the wide difference between the two, Klementieff was glad to portray the role of a villain for a change.

“It was so much fun, and Paris is the polar opposite of Mantis. There’s so little in common between them, so I loved playing a villain and bringing so much intensity to her. It was cool to work with behaviour rather than speech, too, and what’s beautiful is that for characters who don’t speak much, when they do, everyone listens.”

Alongside this, Pom Klementieff also stated that she and Tom Cruise were pretty accurate in their movies and their fight scenes would look like a dance choreography.

“We were very prepared and Tom is very precise, as am I, so we worked together to make sure we don’t hurt each other. It’s like a dance with choreography, you have to be in the moment, looking at each other and adapting to your scene partner.”

The 2023 movie turned out to be quite good as Tom Cruise’s Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One received a rating of 7.9/10 on IMDB and a whopping 96% on Rotten Tomatoes. The movie is currently screening in select theaters across the world as it gears up for an OTT release.
