Fans Are Wondering Why We Live in Time Has An ‘R’ Rating

The rating comes from the fact that there will be intimate scenes throughout the film. The story will follow aspiring chef Almut (Pugh) and recent divorcé Tobias (Garfield) as they meet in the most unexpected way. They will fall in love, share a life together, and even explore themselves s*xually.

There will also be some expletives as well as the film promises heavy drama following the discovery of Almut’s crippling disease and how it will affect their relationship. Perhaps the initial impression of the fans came from the trailer which only showed glimpses of their love scenes.

Nonetheless, this brand-new romance movie is expected to be this year’s most powerful film from A24 and StudioCanal. Apart from the duo, the cast also includes Marama Corlett, Aoife Hinds, Adam James, Nikhil Parmar, and Heather Craney, to name a few.

The film is executive produced by Sherlock star himself Benedict Cumberbatch and principal photography is set in London.

Florence Pugh Enjoyed Working On Her New Film With Andrew Garfield

Pugh previously raved about her joy in making the movie with Garfield in her interview with ET Online. Just a week after both of them presented at the Oscars in 2023, it has been reported that they will be teaming up for a movie project.

We just had the most beautiful time making it. We made a real story about real people and I got to work with the most unbelievable actor that I feel so honored to be in his presence and shout lines back to him.

The actress admitted she’s “in love with the process of making the movie” and she hopes that the fans will appreciate it as well.
