Many fans believe that although Barbie was a blockbuster, it was not worthy of Oscars. But most viewers were just unhappy with Yeoh being asked about why the movie was not nominated for specific categories when it has actually gotten nominated for eight Oscars.

The 96th Academy Awards will be held on 10th March, 2024, and will be live streamed on ABC.
