Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 was one of the many games revealed at the Summer Games Fest, 2024. The game’s announcement trailer was enough to build hype among loyal fans of the previous title.
The trailer’s aesthetic and cinematic brilliance go very well with the game’s premise, and its visuals seem grotesque and brutal, which is precisely what fans look for in a game of this kind. Fans are expressing their anticipation of the game on social media.

Fans have long awaited the first-person RPG but were disappointed about the title not having a 60 fps mode at launch. As seen above, the trailer begins with a sentence about how man’s efforts and attempts do not always lead to desired outcomes. Much of the trailer has footage and dialogue usually associated with media forms set in medieval times.
The specific trailer shown at the 2024 Game Game Fest is also rife with elements of theism, which was much more mainstream in modern times than in the current game’s modern era. The trailer seems to have struck the right chord for fans, as excited fans cannot wait for the game. One such fan commented on the game’s release trailer posted on YouTube in typical 15th-century Bohemian fashion.

Many other elements in the trailer deserve to be talked about, mainly because they seem incredibly authentic to other works of art based on the time seen by the masses. One such key element that becomes the highlight in the trailer is how much it highlights socio-cultural elements.
The Saints & Sinners Trailer Does Justice to the Game’s Essence
Kingdom Come Deliverance2‘s predecessor was known for well-written characters that felt genuine and some of them, like Hans Capon, also became fan favorites. The game also focuses on a man’s quest for revenge and his expectation of forgiveness and retribution from God.
The upcoming sequel’s trailer seems very in line with these elements. Moreover, the character’s acceptance of himself and his purpose is one thing that wraps everything together in the game, making everything seem coherent and authentic.
The gameplay and sword mechanics also look fluid and seem to be breaching the ceiling set by the first title in the series. Overall, while there is little to nothing that can be said for sure, for gamers looking for an immersive period drama with intense action and gut-wrenching visuals, the game is a must-try.
