Kristen Wiig and Will Ferrell came together at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles on Sunday night to present the award for Best Male Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy at the 2024 Golden Globe Awards. However, the duo’s comical nature was reflected in the awards ceremony.

As the duo were doing their usual ceremonial presentation to announce and acknowledge the category, they found themselves astonished when Kevin Mcleod’s Fluffing a Duck started playing out of nowhere.

The Saturday Night Live alums resumed their presentation but got halted by the track once again which led them to dance the night away. At one point, Ferrell yelled, “What is going on?!” The pair eventually admitted that the track had always done something to them. The Old School star shared,

“And whoever is putting on this show tonight knows it. They wanted us to come out here, make a bunch of jokes, and we said no. We said no. We want to be serious tonight.”

Wiig stated,

“They knew just what to do to get what they wanted, play our favorite song, we look ridiculous.”

The Elf actor chimed in to add, “Like a couple of J -holes.”
