However, the actor didn’t return for its fourth sequel, Men in Black: International. In an interview, the Born to Reign actor revealed his decision why he didn’t reprise his role as Agent J in the Men in Black franchise’s fourth installment. He shared:

“I think three is enough for me. Three of anything is enough for me. We’ll look at it, and we’ll consider it, but it feels like it might be time to let someone else do that.”

The first three installments of the Men in Black franchise, led by Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones, received critical acclaim from the audience. They amassed millions of dollars at the global box office, making it one of the highest-grossing franchises.
