One of the most anticipated anime series worldwide, One Punch Man has recently announced its much-awaited third season. The series released a trailer featuring the protagonist Saitama and the main villain of the series Garou. Also, the series has announced that JC Staff Studio will handle the animation of the series.
After its highly successful second season, the show went on an extremely long hiatus, leaving fans to wonder if they would ever see it again. Having animated Season 2, JC Staff’s presence would likely polarize many fans after incorrect information circulated that MAPPA will direct the series instead.
In addition, JC Staff’s second-season animation drew a lot of criticism. Everyone is now waiting to see how season three turns out, as JC Staff has not had much success in terms of animating series as almost all of their series in the past decade received mostly negative reviews. This has got One Punch Man stressed. There are 5 anime series by JC Staff that underperformed.
5. Twin Angel Break
A slot machine game of the same name served as the inspiration for Twin Angel Break. It was released between Spring 2017 and Summer 2017. The plot of the anime centers on two third-year middle school students named Sumire and Meguri who, at the command of a hedgehog by the name of Miruku-chan, battle evil as Twin Angels.
Although the females are at odds, they gradually become closer to one another as they collaborate. The lack of a tie to the game and the disorganized plot of the anime series made people despise it. It garnered a 5.93 rating from MyAnimeList.
4. Taboo Tattoo
Authored and illustrated by Shinjirō, Taboo Tattoo is a Japanese action seinen manga series. The show tells the tale of Seigi, who gets a peculiar tattoo as a present from a homeless guy he saves from some goons.
This deed sets off a chain of events that will thrust Seigi into the center of a battle between the Kingdom of Selinistan and a special U.S. Army unit as they race to acquire “Power Crests,” weaponized ancient relics that have the potential to tip the scales of global power. With a 5.88 rating on MyAnimeList, the anime was at best mediocre.
3. Dai-shogun: Great Revolution
J.C. Staff provided the animation for the mecha anime television series Dai-Shogun – Great Revolution, which was directed by Takashi Watanabe. The series is set in an alternate reality of Japan where the Meiji Restoration never occurred. Rather, Onigami, a race of ancient enormous robots, repulsed the foreign ships.
Since then, Japan and the outside world have continued to be cut off. The studio made an effort to be imaginative with the series, but it fell short of the fans’ extremely high expectations. With a rating of 5.76 on MyAnimeList, the anime was considered a failure.
2. Schoolgirl Strikers: Animation Channel
The show Schoolgirl Strikers: Animation Channel was inspired by the same-named game. It was released between Winter 2017 and Spring 2017. The plot centers on Goryoukan Academy, a recently founded private high school for girls that has a secret aspect that the general public is unaware of.
Strange beings known as Oburi have emerged from a space-time gap. The girls from the academy known as Strikers, who can feel the fifth dimension, are the only ones who can defeat this adversary of humanity. Supporters expressed dissatisfaction about the animation and the story, claiming it was one of the worst anime series created by JC Staff with a rating of 5.73 on MyAnimeList.
1. Do You Love Your Mom And Her Two-Hit Multi-Target Attacks?
Do You Love Your Mom and Her Two-Hit Multi-Target Attacks?, also known as Okaa-san Online, is a Japanese light novel series created by Dachima Inaka. The plot centers on the bond between teenage Masato Oosuki and his mother Mamako as they are both taken to an imaginary world through an internet game.
JC Staff adapted an anime television series that ran from July to September 2019. It was panned by critics and given a rating of 5.71 on MyAnimeList, which made it the worst J.C. Staff anime of the decade.
Fans Are Scared For One Punch Man Season 3
After looking at the past of JC Staff Studio and its overall failure in the anime world, fans are stressed about what will happen with the series as it is still in the production stage. One Punch Man is one of the most anticipated series as fans have been waiting for the third season for quite some time and JC Staff animating the series makes the fans more concerned.

Fans have been waiting for One Punch Man season 3 for quite some time, and while the rumors of MAPPA studio animating the series excited the fans, the confirmation by trailer about JC Staff handling the season 3 animation gave them flashbacks about the second season of the series and its underappreciative animation.
