After the immense success of The Batman, we are eagerly waiting for Robert Pattinson to reprise his role in the sequel. Set apart from James Gunn and Peter Safran’s DC Universe, The Batman is the perfect film series for those looking to enjoy superhero stories without the complexity of a cinematic universe. As of now The Batman – Part II is set for a release date all the way in 2025, therefore there is a long way to go before we find out the nitty gritty of the sequel.

But that does not mean you can stop fans from giving their two cents about what the sequel should be like. Of course, one of the most important parts of a superhero film is the villain, the big bad guy, and fans know just who they want in the sequel – Killer Croc. Check out how fans are lobbying for the reptilian villain to be the next to unleash his wrath on Gotham City.

Given the fact that Paul Dano’s Riddler’s car bombs flooded the entire city of Gotham, Killer Croc seems to be the perfect villain for the case. Perhaps he could be one of the few villains in the sequel who lead up to the main boss? Well, it is up to Matt Reeves to decide if he wants a murderous croc causing havoc on his streets or not.

Killer Croc aka Waylon Jones was first seen in Batman #357 which was released all the way back in 1983. Waylon was born with a rare mutation thanks to which he ended up with reptile-like skin, something which he was bullied for a lot. This eventually led Waylon to prison where he killed a fellow inmate for making fun of his appearance.

When he finally got out of jail, Waylon found a job at the carnival where he would wrestle alligators. Soon, he realized the full, evil potential he had and thus began the journey of Killer Croc, one of Batman’s most terrifying opponents.

Talking about his powers, Croc’s disease caused him to inherit traits of crocodiles, including hardened skin which makes him immune to many weapons. Killer Croc also has superhuman strength, speed, agility, and reflexes. An added benefit is the fact that he is able to rejuvenate his health at a much quicker pace than humans. All of this combined makes him an extremely tough competitor for Bruce Wayne.

If Killer Croc does show up in The Batman – Part II, it won’t be his first rendezvous with DCU. The villain appeared in Suicide Squad (2016) where he was played by actor Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje.

The Batman is available to stream on Max and The Batman – Part II is set to release on October 03, 2025.
