The bots are one of two factions in Helldivers 2 that have been reigning down hell on a lot of players since the game’s release. The other faction, bugs, aren’t to be ignored either as players have been busy fighting for democracy and liberating planets from the two factions without rest.
Former WWE Wrestler, Matthew Rehwoldt, tried his hand at the popular live-service game and wasn’t disappointed as he expressed how competitive the combat was. Popularly known by his WWE ring name, Aiden English, he posted on X about fighting the bots in the game and getting beaten hard before beating them back.
Aiden English Takes on Helldivers 2 Bots and Gets Done Dirty
Bots, called Automatons, are one of the enemy factions in Helldivers 2 alongside the bugs, which are called Terminids. Players squad up together to fight the two factions and liberate planets. It took a collective effort from players to liberate Tien Kwan and unlock the first set of Mechs in the game.
The official Helldivers account on X posted an update about the recently concluded battle of Malevelon Creek, confirming its liberation. Pro-Wrestler Matthew Rehwoldt, also known as Aiden Engish quote-posted the update to mention his brawl against the Automatons, having gotten hit hard by them in the game.

English did mention getting the better of the bots eventually, before posting again soon after stating that he’s going for another round against the bots, linking his Twitch channel. Apart from Helldivers 2, English recently streamed Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth and Final Fantasy 7 Remake. English first streamed Helldivers 2 two months back, and most recently played it two weeks back.
English also hosts podcasts and chats about the recent events from WWE, reliving past matches and sharing his thoughts in general. As for Helldivers 2, players have outdone the estimated time again, liberating Malevelon Creek in record time.
Malevelon Creek Was Expected to be Liberated in 24 Hours, Players Did it in 5 Hours
The Helldivers 2 post that Aiden English had quote-posted confirmed the liberation of Malevelon Creek, which was expected to be liberated in 24 hours. Players, however, liberated it in just five hours. The Major Order to liberate Malevelon Creek was given yesterday, and players made quick work of that.
Right after the liberation, however, players spotted massive, cloaked ships over the Automaton worlds.

The ships have since been spotted in full flair by other players earlier today, as shared by another player on Reddit.
Players have been expecting the worst ever since liberating Malevelon Creek and witnessing more and more of the mysterious cloaked ships. One of the replies to the post about the cloaked ships mentioned there could be a bigger fight coming soon, while other wild predictions included the creators of the Automatons themselves finally making an appearance.
Aiden English is just one of several streamers who have picked up on Helldivers 2 as the Arrowhead title constantly ranks among the top 10 titles concurrently played by gamers every day.
