The Deluxe Edition of WWE 2K24 is finally out and after the success gained by last year’s title in the franchise, there was a lot of hype and excitement for this year’s edition. Even before the title had come out there was a lot of controversy surrounding WWE leading to the removal of Brock Lesnar from the cover for the Anniversary edition of the game.

The Deluxe Edition release hasn’t been smooth going by the amount of issues faced by players. Some of the issues faced by gamers include the game crashing as it loads, the community creations not working as expected and the game’s not staying online for too long.

WWE 2K24 is Plagued with Bugs Leaving Players Frustrated

The WWE 2K24 Deluxe Edition has been a nightmare for several players with the game crashing often.

One of the newest features of the WWE franchise is the online mode, MyFactions, in which players essentially collect WWE superstar cards and build a team or a faction. As much as MyFactions was popular with last year’s WWE 2K23 title, this year’s title is already frustrating players as a lot of them have been complaining on Reddit about not being able to connect online.

One of the fans who commented on the same post discussing the issue stated being able to select the starter pack and set a team but the online and multiplayer features not being up yet. The MyFaction store was also mentioned as not working.

Community Creations is another section that seems to be broken in this year’s edition. Players add custom crowd signs, arenas, and custom Superstars among other custom creations to the game using the Community Creations section. Players on Xbox Series X|S consoles seem to be most affected by the issue in this section, as the game seems to simply crash and close while trying to access Downloads, Uploads, or Image Manager sections under the Community Creations section.

Players most frustrated with the game were those on Steam who pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition of WWE 2K24.

The game seems to simply crash on them far too often. One fan stated having spent over 90 minutes trying to create their Superstar due to the game crashing often in between.

Even a loading screen in between seems to crash the game, as reported by a fan. Another fan reported having taken to the official website of 2K’s Code of Conduct for Fair Play when trying to play a match on MyFaction.

The Bloodline entrance which features Roman Reigns entering a match accompanied by Solo Sikoa and Paul Heyman as Managers seems to be messed up with a different character coming out in place of Paul Heyman. Choosing other tag teams also seems to be messed with options to choose certain players not working as intended.

With the game globally releasing on the 8th of March, there are no solutions online for players to look for troubleshooting options. Fans will now hope the game gets an update to fix the issues before or by the time WWE 2K24 launches globally.

Did you encounter any of these issues with the Deluxe Edition? Let us know in the comments.
