Among the multiple Disney+ shows by MCU, Moon Knight is largely considered to be one of its best. Featuring Oscar Isaac in the main role, the series was a delight for the fans of the character. However, true fans also noticed how the story was a toned-down version of the comic falling more in line with Disney than that of Moon Knight.

The brains behind X-Men ’97 recently sat down with IGN for an interview, where Executive Producer Larry Houston revealed that the story will retain the themes of the story while adapting it for a brand new audience.

“X-Men is not a reboot of the original series, but literally a next-day continuation,” said Executive Producer Brad Winderbaum. “Like the 90s show, we are keeping the themes of the stories that were so powerful. but adapting it for a brand new audience” revealed Larry Houston.

This statement has made fans worry a little. This brand-new audience refers to the audience Disney wants to cater to. Thus, fans are expecting a serious reduction in the amount of violence, gore, blood, and speech to make the series a fit for this new audience. The same has already been done to Moon Knight. While the Oscar Isaac series turned out to be a huge hit, it might have been even better had it stayed true to its roots.
