Brie Larson is all set to reprise her role as Carol Danvers a.k.a Capain Marvel in the next installment of the MCU The Marvels. The film will see her team up with Ms. Marvel’s Kamala Khan and WandaVision’s Monica Rambeau a.k.a Photon. The film is all set to release on November 10.
In anticipation of the film’s release, Marvel released the new and final trailer of the film. While there are glimpses of the three superheroes as well as Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury, the end of the trailer teases the entrance of a major cameo, which is largely believed to be the X-Men.
The Final Trailer of Brie Larson’s The Marvels
The next film of the MCU’s phase five The Marvels is all set to release on November 10. The film is directed by Nia DaCosta, who became the first black woman to direct a Marvel film and the youngest filmmaker too in the franchise, and stars Brie Larson, Iman Vellani, and Teyonah Parris in the lead roles. The trio play the titular Marvels and the plot reportedly follows their clash with the Kree warrior Dar-Benn.
The film would be Larson’s second full-fledged appearance since her solo film Captain Marvel in 2019 and it is a direct sequel to that film. She was last seen in cameo roles in the Disney Plus series Ms Marvel and the film Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. She will be joining hands with Parris’ Photon and Vellani’s Ms Marvel.

Marvel released the final trailer of the film on Monday Night Football, which hints at it being another multiversal storyline, much like Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. The three Marvels try to investigate the rip in spacetime that Dar-Benn has created, with Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury joining them.
The trailer also confirms the inclusion of Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie in the film. Valkyrie was last seen in Taika Waititi’s Thor: Love and Thunder, where she was King Valkyrie of New Asguard. It is not confirmed whether Thompson would join the Marvels in their quest or if she would just appear in a small cameo.
Will The X-Men Make Their MCU Debut In The Marvels?
In the final moments of the trailer, Nick Fury grimly states, “They’re here”. The statement is accompanied by a beam of light that emerges from the hole that Dar-Benn has ripped in space, hinting at the characters jumping from one universe to another, like the villains from Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Many fans have speculated that Nick Fury is referring to the X-Men in his statement. The mutants are all set to make their MCU debut soon and will be getting their first dedicated film in the form of Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool 3. The inclusion finally came after Disney acquired Fox Studios. There have also been speculations about Fury also referring to the Fantastic Four, who are due to appear in phase six.
However, right after Fury’s statement, there is a shot that reveals an unknown woman in a white and yellow suit. Many have speculated it to be Brie Larson as the character Binary. The superhero is a duplicate of Carol Danvers in the comics and she has been long rumored to be a part of the film.
