Season 2 of the series premiered on February 8 and continues the story of Season 1, where Master Chief John-117 leads his team against the Covenant, the aliens. The new season will have 8 episodes in total as compared to 9 episodes in Season 1. Season 1 of the TV show received mixed reactions due to various issues such as Master Chief being helmet-less, and more.

The sex scene towards the end of the season was also a point of debate among longtime fans of the series. The reviews for the two new episodes of the latest season have started to surface and it seems like the series gets more things right than Season 1, and fans are appreciating it. Season 2 of the show is currently at 94% on Rotten Tomatoes as compared to Season 1’s 70%.

The new season has a 76% audience score in comparison to last season’s disappointing 52%. Players are happy to see Master Chief and company back on screen, and it has been an exciting adventure so far. The latest season will continue into March with the first six episodes airing by March 7 and the last two episodes of the season releasing on March 14 and March 21.
