Hunter x Hunter has become an international meme for its extreme hiatuses. However, the fandom unilaterally agrees that they would rather accept the break than have Yoshihiro Togashi’s health risks flare again.
Luckily for them, the mangaka has indeed begun working on the manuscript again and regularly updates his X account with various hints about the upcoming chapters.
Yoshihiro Togashi Posted Another Update on Hunter x Hunter
Hunter x Hunter is one of the most celebrated Shonen manga and has consistently delivered good chapters. Even during the awkward breaks, the chapter quality was never compromised.
In a recent X post, Yoshihiro Togashi updated taht he has already begun working on chapter 412 of Hunter x Hunter. The last few posts were regarding chapters above 400, and he posted around 2-3 pages per day.

Fans were first informed that Togashi would work on 10 more chapters. Once the author posted about chapter 12, fans were pleasantly surprised. So far, Togashi has hinted that he is working on pages 1 and 2 of chapter 412.

Additionally, he also posted an illustration of Killua. This has made fans hopeful about the author’s return and the manga’s future. However, there is a dark underbelly that is being forgotten by everyone.
The Hunter x Hunter Manga Faces Imminent Danger
While fans are busy celebrating Togashi’s progress and willingness to return to his initial schedule as much as possible. The posting of chapter 412 has also incited some suspicion among readers as they can’t help but doubt the speed at which the manga is being created.
If this was any other mangaka, the speed would mostly be considered normal. But Yoshihiro Togashi has a history of health problems and had to abandon manga just so that he could recuperate and no fans would want him to go through the same condition again.
Thus enters the grave suspicion. How is Yoshihiro Togashi keeping up with the workload and drawing illustrations? What if the author never gave himself proper time to heal? The most likely possibility, however, is that the chapters are being skimped out.
Yoshihiro Togashi has been slowly working on the scenes, and fans were taken by the diligence. However, his recent update made people think that this is obviously unhealthy. In fact, there is a chance that in order to submit and publish the manga on time, its quality is being dropped.
Togashi has been extremely hardworking with Hunter x Hunter but fans are now begging because no one wants extra chapters at the cost of the author’s health. Despite all the backlash, Togashi is back to work with nonchalance. So let’s hope that the quality content is delivered as usual without having to worry about Togashi.
