As she interviewed her friend and Hollywood star, Bullock described what she expected Aniston to be like before their first meeting. And she was worried that the Rock Star actress would not live up to her expectations.

Sandra Bullock Was Anxious Before Meeting Jennifer Aniston

Sandra Bullock and Jennifer Aniston have been in the film industry for over three decades and have given incredible performances over the years. Being so popular, they obviously knew about each other but did not meet until they were introduced by their ex Tate Donovan at the 2010 Golden Globes.

As the duo recalled meeting for the first time during their interview, Bullock opened up about what she expected the Bruce Almighty actress to be like. She hoped that Aniston was the same kind-hearted and genuine person as she appeared to everyone.

“You allowed yourself to look foolish, heartbroken, clumsy, like an idiot,” Bullock said before adding, “You said, ‘Yeah, I might look like this, but guess what? I have the same failings and insecurities you do.'” During the interview, the Bird Box actress said that she wanted her to be exactly like that, or she would have been disappointed.

And she was assured after meeting Aniston as she was as authentic and kind as she appeared to be. They have since become best friends and drinking buddies. The Hollywood stars have also shared moments celebrating birthdays and Halloween festivities together.

Sandra Bullock And Jennifer Aniston Dated the Same Guy

Sandra Bullock met her ex-boyfriend Tate Donovan while filming the 1992 film Love Potion No. 9. The actress later shared that she adored Donovan so much and developed a very close relationship with him. The former couple was together till 1994, and Bullock was also quite open about their relationship.

However, neither she nor the Damages actor revealed the reason behind their split. Shortly after their break up, Donovan got into a relationship with Jennifer Aniston. The couple was together till 1998. And the actor later shared that things were a bit awkward after he guest-starred in FRIENDS as Aniston’s love interest post their split.

While his relationship did not work out with either of them, his exes did not have any bad blood against each other. “Yes, and we were introduced by our former boyfriend. I say ‘our’ because you and I both partook of this one human being,” Bullock revealed during the interview.

“He seems to have a type,” Aniston added, and they further stated that he is “talented, funny, kind, introspective, generous,” and he was the one who introduced them at the 2010 Golden Globes. While it’s not how one would expect to meet their friends, things did work out for both of them, and they are great friends to date.
