Martin Scorsese’s directed, The Wolf of Wall Street was a major commercial success that depicted explicit content, parties, and whatnot that were few of the factors that led to controversy at the time.

In an interview, model-actress, Maria Di Angelis, who played the role of one of the hookers in the film for an airplane party scene recalled a girl who was paired with actor, Leonardo DiCaprio for the R-rated scenes. She stood out the most in her memory as she recalled,

“This girl was completely naked, sitting astride him, while he was wearing a suit. She was very — how can I say? — enthusiastic. It wasn’t acting. They had to keep telling her: ‘You can’t just, like, hump him.’ She was all over him.”

While they tried to correct her, it was of no avail.

“So they said: ‘You’re here because you’re foreground. We’re just going to move you back a little!'”

Eventually, she was replaced after she continued with her acts. Meanwhile, the Inception actor didn’t hold himself back from baring on camera.

In an old interview, The Departed actor talked about his infamous o*gy airplane scene stating that it was a late addition in the script. Talking about the raunchy sequence, he mentioned,

“I looked at my character as an emperor that was giving in to every possible temptation, so with that mindset, we added an o*gy scene on an aeroplane which was a full day of filming. It was insane.”

He continued to share that he didn’t mind exposing himself on-screen at all for the 2013 movie.

“It was fun [filming the scenes]. I didn’t think about the nudity much because I was trying to portray what this guy’s life was like and it all really happened.”

Due to their efforts, the film grossed $406.9 million worldwide, thus becoming Scorsese’s highest-grossing film. Not just that, it also earned 5 Oscar nominations including Best Actor for DiCaprio.
