For a long time, an ongoing debate regarding Dwayne Johnson’s body has been making rounds on the internet. Many netizens and big personalities have questioned the authenticity of The Rock’s body. He has been repeatedly accused of consuming steroids. The ex-WWE (formerly WWF) star has once again taken to an interview to admit that he is steroid-free and all the claims are baseless.
Earlier, Dwayne Johnson had faced allegations of steroid use uncountable times. Even though he agreed to have consumed performance-enhancing drugs once before, during his college, he never touched it again. The Rock didn’t hesitate to claim that many people would speak ill about him to negate the hard work and the only true reason for his success was training.
Dwayne Johnson claims that he is clean of steroid use
Dwayne Johnson is currently one of the biggest names in the entertainment industry. While WWF made him a big star, movies have played a big role in his career. Following that, he also co-founded the production company Seven Bucks Productions. In a recent interview with Fortune, when the topic of steroids was raised once again, the actor gave a strong reply to his haters.
The Black Adam star openly admitted that his main driving force was training and there have been many people who tried to negate his hard work. But he was hell-bent on the fact that he never had steroids again, and the allegations were baseless.
“Sure, you get a lot of people out there who will suspect, and say sh*t. They want to negate the hard work you put in.”
In an old interview with Josh Horowitz for MTV, Dwayne Johnson didn’t hesitate to admit to his steroid use- “I tried it. Me and my buddies tried it back in the day when I was 18 or 19. Didn’t know what we were doing.” Later in the interview, he also pointed out the perils of performance-enhancing drugs and advised everyone to not follow them as there’s no “replacement for hard work”.

Joe Rogan doesn’t believe a bit in Dwayne Johnson
It can’t be denied that Dwayne Johnson has maintained his monster physique at the age of 51 which is highly commendable. But popular UFC commentator and podcast fame Joe Rogan doesn’t agree with that. He is of the notion that The Rock is under the influence of steroids and in no way clean. He called out the Brahma Bull in his podcast and demanded him to publicly admit the truth.
While talking to YouTuber Derek for an episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, the host called out Dwayne Johnson and said that he should come clean. Derek pointed out that almost every actor who portrays superheroes in movies is under the influence of steroids. Joe Rogan added that he didn’t believe the Black Adam fame to have a natural body.
In the podcast, Joe Rogan added that there is “not a fu*king chance in hell” he was clean. He pointed out that The Rock was massive at the age of 50. On the other hand, he was also different at the age of 30. It can’t be denied that the debate around Rock’s steroid use will not end very soon. However, it is up to the fans to believe if the Red Notice star’s body is authentic or a result of meds.
