The Hollywood ex-couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have had an intriguing love story. The two got together after meeting on the set of their 2005 film, Mr. & Mrs. Smith. They soon started dating and got married in August 2014. However, things did not work out due to Pitt’s alleged violent behavior toward his ex-wife and children. And they went on different paths just two years after their marriage. But things did not seem quite well since the beginning.
The Bullet Train star was not able to handle the insults thrown at him regarding Jolie being more successful than him. During his appearance on Between Two Ferns, Zach Galifianakis took the opportunity to roast the Babylon star.
Zach Galifianakis Strikes at Brad Pitt
The Hangover star Zach Galifianakis is known for being blunt with the guests on his chat show, whether it’s one of the biggest pop stars or the President of the USA. While the former President was able to keep his calm and strike back at the host, not everyone was able to hold back.
Something similar happened when the Oscar-winning actor, Brad Pitt joined Galifianakis on his show. The Due Date star started throwing insults at his guest as soon as he stepped on the set. He introduced the Troy star as Bradley Pitts and mentioned his film, Fury as “Furry.”
As the show proceeded, Galifianakis started targeting the Fight Club star for his marriage. He did not forget to mention his ex-wife, Jennifer Aniston, and play the FRIENDS theme song. The host then started mentioning his now ex-wife, Angelina Jolie, saying that he lives in her shadow.

Brad Pitt Loses His Cool Over Zach Galifianakis’ Questions
Things got awkward for Brad Pitt and Galifianakis after the host of Between Two Ferns started mentioning Angelina Jolie. The Mr. & Mrs. Smith co-stars were married at the time, and Galifianakis found the timing to be perfect for insulting Pitt over his wife’s success.
The host asked if it is hard for the World War Z star to maintain a sun tan, as he lives in his wife’s shadow. “Is it hard for you to maintain a suntan? Because you live in your wife’s shadow,” Zach Galifianakis asked him. Pitt, however, maintained his composure.
The Campaign star then asked his guest if his fans focus too much on his looks that they “don’t even realize that [he’s] just a sh*tty actor.” The question led the Fury star to lose his cool and spit on the host’s face before saying, “next question.”
The awkward interview led many to question if Between Two Ferns is scripted and if everything is planned beforehand. The co-creator of the show, Scott Aukerman, said that they “never scripted a conversation.” He shared that the guests are also often surprised by the questions.
