Amber Heard raised headlines when she dated the tech billionaire Elon Musk soon after calling it quits with Johnny Depp. Even after running for a short period, the relationship was subjected to wide public and media attention. Later once again when it was brought into the conversation during the Heard vs. Depp defamation case more unheard details about their relationship were revealed.
During the defamation trial held at the Fairfax County Court in Virginia, along with several shocking details, it was revealed that the Aquaman actress was never in love with the SpaceX CEO. The followers of the trial were quite surprised to know how the actress used the billionaire to just fill the void.

Amber Heard and Elon Musk were never a thing
Elon Musk has shown interest in Amber Heard since 2012. But they were first spotted together publicly at the 2016 Met Gala. According to Depp’s ex-wife, both of them had a fight and the Billionaire accompanied her at the function after the Pirates of the Caribbean actor “stood her up”.
After having a good time together, they started meeting more often until making their relationship official on social media in April 2017. However, it didn’t run long, and they broke off early in 2018. During the trial, it was revealed that they were never a thing as Heard didn’t feel anything for Musk.
When her conversation with her former agent Christian Carino was revealed, she shared how the media coverage following her break-up with Elon Musk was affecting her. To this, Carino replied:
“You weren’t in love with him and you told me a thousand times you were just filling space.”
Amber Heard’s response to Christian Carino’s corroborated the task as she wrote- “I know, but I wanted time to grieve and recover in my own time”. Carino also advised Heard to avoid high-profile relationships to prevent media attention.
Not only Carino, but psychologist Dr. Dawn Hughes also testified that Heard, in their private interviews, admitted to never having any feelings for Elon Musk.
Christian Carino also tried to reconcile Johnny Depp and Amber Heard
Christian Carino proved to be a more significant person in the case after he admitted that he also tried to reconcile the former couple at The Rum Diary actress’ request. The former agent confirmed that he never witnessed any sign of bad blood between the former couple and even Amber Heard never reported to him about any case of domestic violence either.
Carino arranged a meeting between the two in 2016 at a friend’s house in San Francisco. Christian Carino was unaware if Musk and Heard were dating back then. But he confirmed that the latter was still in love with Johnny Depp. Amber Heard wrote to him:
“I’ve written so many notes, can you give him one? I don’t know how or where to start. There’s no way to begin… I have so many. Finally I am single, clear in my heart and mind. I just want him to know I love him and I am sorry.”

Ultimately after a long series of secrets, lies, and revelations, the defamation trial ended with the verdict in Depp’s favor. Recently the trial was subjected to discussion once again after the latest Netflix series Depp v. Heard presented a disappointing docuseries adaptation of the entire legal drama.
