Sam Levinson reached new heights of fame with Euphoria, and the show gained worldwide recognition and set a new standard for teenage drama. He is currently in hot water after teasers from The Idol have been released. Many have questioned and objected to the Torture Po*n being shown on the show. These allegations and troubling news has put Euphoria season 3 in question.
Euphoria season 3 might not see the light of the day
Euphoria initially debuted on HBO in 2019. Since then, it has been a fan favorite. The ensemble cast of the adolescent drama, which has been on television for two successful seasons, includes freshly established talents Angus Cloud, Alexa Demie, Jacob Elordi, Barbie Ferreira, Hunter Schafer, and Sydney Sweeney in addition to Zendaya, who starred in Spider-Man: No Way Home. The show is confirmed to renew for season 3 in 2024.
It is quite unfortunate that news surrounding The Idol has led to a dip in interest in Euphoria season 3. Fans are speculating that the show might get canceled after the controversies that Levinson is surrounded by. They are also concerned about the quality of the show as reports from The Idol’s set suggest that Levinson is making the shoot incredibly tough.

Fans have been dissing The idol and simultaneously showed concerned towards the quality of Euphoria Season 3. The second season did not perform as well as the first one which gives fans another reason to fret more about the story, plot and quality of characters. Many are expecting exceeding nud*ty and se*ual scenes from the show instead of a emotional stories.

Sam Levinson’s The Idol slammed as Torture Po*n
Rolling Stone went behind the scenes to find the truth about Levinson’s The Idol as it is constantly getting delayed. Rolling Stone’s findings are not just surprising but also troubling and extremely disappointing. Fans were excited for the show mainly because Sam Levinson was creating and developing it, after developing and creating Euphoria.

However reports from Rolling stone highlight that Levinson’s approach towards the shoot and story is toxic. The script has some very problematic aspects including but not limited to r*pe. Insider told Rolling Stone,
“It was like, ‘What is this? What am I reading here? It was like sexual torture po*n. It was like any r*pe fantasy that any toxic man would have in the show — and then the woman comes back for more because it makes her music better,”
